Each student who completes the Quill Writing Assessment will receive a personalised Quill certificate and report. The certificate shows the achievement band attained by the student, while the report shows a breakdown of the candidate's results and detailed feedback on the extended writing tasks.
Students who have completed the corresponding level of Writing i-Learner and/or Love to Write are encouraged to aim for Merit or higher in the Quill Writing Assessment.
The two highest achievement levels are Distinction and High Distinction, and students who wish to prepare themselves for the highest marks in DSE, IELTS and TOEFL are encouraged to aim for these achievement bands.
* Two training sessions are available to help students prepare for the assessment. In the training sessions, students will have the opportunity to practise with Quill mock papers. The training sessions are exam-focused, with the first training session focusing on short-answer questions and the second training session focusing on free writing tasks. The face-to-face sessions will be conducted.
